After fighting AIX for days, <knocking on wood> I have conquered </knocking on wood> the OS that I have hated for years yet again.
Seriously, isn't it sad that the only positive I can think of for it is the running man that falls down when something fails in smit (GUI for sys admin work)? It's a tremendous PITA compared to Linux, Solaris and even (eek) Windows.

Jake, Vince and I hit the Austin Custom Car and Hot Rod Show today. Man, we love old cars. There was a great selection. As always, tons of Camaros and Mustangs. There was a '73 Camaro RS that almost brought a tear to my eye, a '65 Fastback Mustang that was sweet, but that '39 Chevy got me thinking...
If only I would have kept my '78 Camaro. Well, and also not run it into as many ditches as I did.
As long as my truck holds up I hope my next car will be at least 50 years old... Someday...

First off - you better appreciate this pic, damn it! I literally fell on my ass to get it. You see, I'm in Austin, Tx. and we apparently don't know what to do when it starts freezing down here. It's funny, the local news was describing it as treacherous... Anyway, with all of the kid's excitement over the ice and "snow flurries", I failed to actually realize there might also be ice, um, on the ground. There's nothing like watching you're prized $250 Treo flying through the air in slow motion... Kudos to Palm, my Treo's taking many a licking and keeps on ticking, er, computing.
Back on topic, I've seen a number of others have started a "Project 365" wherein they post a pic a day for a year. As usual, I'm late to the game. ;-)
